Many people looking at Cashcrate wonder: is cashcrate a scam? Well, the truth that can be found in this cashcrate review is that while it’s not a scam per se, it’s a bit difficult to make money in it.
Introduction to Cashcrate
Cashcrate has been around for a number of years now and primarily works to bring information and members to affiliate sites, generally big ones like credit cards, other survey sites and online stores. It has three ways to make money: surveys, completely offers, and referring others to join; the best way to make money is a combination approach which makes it more difficult to make good money with than systems that are purely surveys.
System
Cashcrate has three ways to make money:
• Paid surveys. Like many sites like this, Cashcrate offers surveys; generally at ten cents to a couple of dollars a piece.
• Offers. The big money is found in doing and completing offers ranging from simple sign ups with sites to signing up for credit cards (and being accepted to have that credit card). You can make thirty dollars or more doing this, but of course that means you’ll be getting a lot of spam and you may not be accepted into these offers anyway. It’s a good idea to set up an email account specifically for this site and its offers so that your regular email isn’t bombarded.
• Referral program. You can make money by referring other people to cashcrate and making a percentage of what they make; typically between ten and thirty percent. The amount you make goes up depending on how many people you successfully refer.
Cashcrate then pays you out on the twentieth of every month, assuming you have at least $10.00 sitting in your account and the checks are mailed out to you.
Is Cashcrate a Scam?
In the most literal sense, no, Cashcrate is not a scam and if you can get people to join up and do it (usually by blogging about the site, reviewing it, and posting links on your social networks), you can make a decent amount of money monthly. Checks never have any problem clearing and Cashcrate makes no bones about what it expects from you. There really is no Cashcrate scam.
Problems
The main problem with Cashcrate is the Offers system whereby you make money successfully completing offers. Newcomers will be leery about giving out their information to a ton of companies and old hats likely already have rendering many of the offers useless. You also have to successfully complete offers to make money, meaning that you have to be approved for the offer from the company, something which may be beyond your control. The other big money maker-the referral program-depends on you referring people who will actually do the work and often means you have to do plenty of work outside of the site in order to attract the right people.
Is Cashcrate a scam? No, but it is most effective if you can put the work into it, but you may not make enough money to justify the work. Cashcrate is worth checking out if you want some side income and you’re willing to sign up for some offers; otherwise, you’re better of going for a purely survey site or finding another source of online income. Really, if you’re interested, you should just try Cashcrate for yourself and see if it will work for you.
