MLM Sponsor- The Thin Line Between Dependence And Assurance
MLM Sponsor- The Fine Line Between Dependence and Confidence
I do believe the job of being a network marketing sponsor is a hard one. They walk the fine line between being there to help their downline and doing too much until they make them dependent.
Even with all of the excellent training available on the Internet today some people still do not really comprehend network marketing. What they do know is they all want to earn more money and in many cases do as little as work as needed to achieve that.
The Internet has leveled the playing field when it comes to building a network marketing business. You don’t have to be particularly good at prospecting or presenting if you represent the right network marketing program.
All the prospecting can be done for you right on the Internet. In many cases you can participate in co-op advertising programs where the leads for your business are even created for you.
Some systems are so sophisticated they will even follow-up for you by importing leads directly into an autoresponder. In many cases they will directly enroll them into your MLM business and place them right in your downline.
For people who have money they can build an MLM business and do it almost completely hands-off. However the problem comes in when you have to teach your downline what you are doing.
Many people must learn how to build their business online using free marketing methods because they can not afford to buy leads. This includes the rapidly rising in popularity method of social networking.
If you are the type of sponsor who is building a business doing social networking you may find yourself trying to do too much for your downline. If you’re not willing to let people fail on their own to a certain extent they can become dependent on you to do everything for them.
The biggest waste of time is how much you spend answering emails to questions that are published right on the mlm company website. Some people lack the confidence to do even the littlest things and become dependent on you as their upline or sponsor.
The quicker you can cut the cord with these types of people the better off both of you will be. Network marketers need to develop confidence and learn how to do on the internet marketing the same way everyone else is today.
The faster you can identify the type of distributor you are working with the better off you will be. As their sponsor if they have money they are probably better off using the system provided by the company.
If they do not have money they will need to learn how to build their network marketing business using marketing tools provided by the company. Your job is to assist in that and help only to the point they develop the confidence it takes to build their own business.

I like your attitude. One is better off having 10 GOOD people in a downline than 100 lousy ones. Cutting the cord with those who clearly don’t have the motivation or potential to get things going is efficient and wise.
