Use YouTube Daily

images67If you followed the essential advice in our article “Dictation – Your Best Friend” you will gradually get used to having a voice presence. You will start making jokes, playing with clever styles of presenting information, and probably will get more confident with using your voice in general. Once that starts to happen, you need to graduate to our second critical tip: use YouTube daily.

Okay, daily is actually overdoing it. It takes a bit of work, especially at the beginning, to make a video anyone will want to watch. However, we’re not talking about genuine movies here. We don’t expect anyone to become animators or film makers, or even to buy a camera. But you can still make YouTube videos that can gather a huge following to your websites.

YouTube is a very popular place for audio blogs – even though the files are videos, they very often feature only a picture montage, or even text, in the video portion. Many people have driven major interest to their ideas by reaching out to YouTube’s huge audience of people who would rather listen to content being spoken to them, than to read it.

Critiques, articles and editorials, reviews, even plain old childish rants – done well, all these and more can get millions of views and hundreds of thousands of subscribers. All those people will eventually click your username to see your full channel, further branding themselves with your ideas. Every single video becomes a vacuum that sucks in your potential audience – and if anybody is searching for specific content all day long, it’s YouTube users.

When you’re ready to spend a day learning the basics of combining audio tracks with pictures, simple effects, and merge the whole thing into time lines, you will find it simple. There is free software for this, but the most popular come free with both Windows Vista and Mac OS X. If you’re not sure how to get started, guess what – you can head to YouTube and find thousands of great tutorials.

Nobody should skip YouTube. The problem of exclusive TV advertising is a problem of the past – TV is losing viewers to YouTube every day. Get in there, it’s free!

    Hi,

I have not tried the software yet.
It seems ok but from my experience you should be careful
using theese kind of software because of the risk of Twitter
    closing your account.
It`s easy to get cought for spamming thru theese programs.
I lost my previous account using an automatic Tweet software.Lost all of my followers and had to start from scratch again.
    Tweet Adder is expensive too.
